Glacier National Park

I will be heading back up to Glacier National Park every chance I get. What a majestic place. I feel so lucky to live so close. We are returning for another stay in September and hopefully some day trips in between!

Doubled my Goal

I like to post a photo with my posts and this one is from Glacier National Park. We are heading up there this week to celebrate my birthday. There is a scenic road called Road to the Sun that is open only a few months out of the year. We are going to take in the views, swim, fish and camp.

Well, it is my 1 1/2 year anniversary on Etsy. When I first joined I made a goal for this date. I wanted to make 325 sales by this date.

I know it is odd to choose a goal for 1 1/2 years rather than 1 year, but that is what I did.

I am thrilled that I practically doubled that goal at 649 sales. Being self employed I really find setting goals to be imperative.

Often I set goals such as in the month of June I shall accomplish this...for July, that... That way I am not just drifting aimlessly, accomplishing nothing.

When I come home from my much needed vacation I shall post some photos!

I like to add a photo to my blog post and this is my Wild is the Wind pearl necklace. I am a huge David Bowie fan and named this design after his very passionate song with the same title.

I am just having an all around exciting day! My website Gypsymoondesigns.comnow shows up in a "Google" search and I received my first email inquiring about one of my designs.

Lastly, but by far not least, my Dad has opened up an Etsy shop with his photography. He has also already been in a treasury!!! You can visit Glenn Burns Photography at Carolina prints.

Two Craft Shows this 4th of July Weekend

I booked two craft shows every weekend thru August. What am I thinking! LOL But, hey, you gotta make hay while the sun is a shinin'!

I am afraid, afraid of those silly No See Ums on Sunday. It is so funny because I am not one to be afraid of things. I love to drive across country, I stand up to bullies...stuff like that, but, these silly bugs have me afraid! I created a concoction that I will see if it works. It's Eucalyptus, geranium, bergamont, lavender, and lemon oil. I will bring some back up in the form of store bought bug repellent too.

If this doesn't work and I get attacked severely again, I will just have to drop that show.

I will let you know how the plant based repellent works!
