This past Monday I was thrilled to find out I was on the front page! One of the administrators put together a collection and included my Brass Filigree earrings.
Of course I was in my studio working at the time and missed watching the views come in! I gained a lot of views and hearts but no sales.
It made me wonder about advertising. Here was free advertising but no sales. If I was to pay for advertising would it be the same? Lots of hearts and views but no real return for the buck? But, then it was in house advertising so maybe there is a difference.

This is a good question: I've been thinking also to book a place in the Showcase one of these days, and in my opinion it will always worth the investment: Even if lots of people visit your shop and heart it you without buying at that moment, they will remember you and may come back later, as well as they can spread the word.
Anyway your Brass Filigree earrings are gorgeous: I don't think they will stay for long in the shop...

I, too, was on the FP with a pair of earrings earlier this year, and had lots of hearts and traffic, but no sales. i've done showcases, too, but no sales from them, either. I'm not quite sure what the key is... Congrats on your FP appearance, however!
